PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: According to the Journal of Clinical Medicine: based on 2006 statistic, in the year 2007... there will be 213,380 NEW cases of lung cancer. and 160,390 deaths due to lung cancer. this reflects the highest incidence:death rate ratio of any cancer in men or women. Not to mention that Lung Cancer is one of the most painful and debilitating of cancers. Now think about the additional fact that 1/3 of cancers in the US can be correlated to tobacco products- be it lung, oral, esophageal or cancers of the gastrointestinal/respiratory tract. now isn't it time to quit? |
